(Burgwald / Wunsiedel). Osborn was keenly preparing to participate in the 2020 International Hardware Fair in Cologne. The fair has always been a highly valued meeting point for the industry and an opportunity to present our new products to a broad international audience. In the last months, we have been making intensive plans for our participation and looking forward to this event.

Recently, we have been following the news on Covid-19 (Corona virus) and listening carefully to the advice of experts in this field. We have found that even if a final assessment of the situation is not available, there is a high level of uncertainty amongst our own staff and our business partners. Meetings already scheduled with existing and potential customers are now being cancelled.

Following intensive discussions on the risks involved, we have taken the regrettable decision to cancel our participation in this year’s International Hardware Fair, Cologne.

We should be happy to welcome customers, now unable to meet us in Cologne, to our facilities in Burgwald or Wunsiedel. In the coming weeks we will be launching new products and also advising on the brand change from Dronco to Osborn.
