German Entrepreneur Award - 2006 run by the Harvard Business School

At the end of 2006, DRONCO AG from Wunsiedel was awarded the "German Entrepreneur Award 2006" by the Harvard Business School on the campus of the European School of Business in Reutlingen. DRONCO was selected unanimously by a top-flight jury as the winner in the category "Successful Medium-Sized Business".

The jury was composed of thirteen well-known members representing the areas of business and science. They included management consultant Prof. Dr. Roland Berger, the President of Merrill Lynch Deutschland and former Minister President of Baden-Württemberg Prof. Dr. Lothar Späth, lecturer and entrepreneur Prof. Dr. Schneck, entrepreneurs such as Dr. Heinz-Horst Deichmann and Erich Sixt as well as Bernd Ziesemer, Chief Editor of the financial newspaper "Handelsblatt".

Mutmacher der Nation 2005 (Germany's Most Encouraging Small- and Medium-Sized Companies 2005)

The jury of the "Mutmacher der Nation" competition selected DRONCO's director Hermann Bröker as the Bavarian state champion in this national German competition. The jury were particularly impressed by Hermann Bröker's ability to inspire others to develop and promote his company and also the region of Upper Franconia in Germany.
